The 1st Penang Virtual Roadshow to China was made feasible from May 18 to 20, 2021, with the objective of initiating and organising a digital trade fair that would enable interaction between China purchasers and Penang's best sellers in the tourist sector.

The virtual roadshow is slated to visit various top-tier Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, and has confirmed the participation of 160 eligible buyers and trade visitors. Throughout the three-day event, the Penang Virtual Roadshow to China 2021 (PVRTC2021) included a variety of virtual activities such as digital networking sessions, live forums (knowledge session), pre-scheduled one-on-one business meetings between buyers and exhibitors, product showcase presentations, and many more.
